        • About Our School

        • Hoadedhdhoo School was established during the Administration of Mohamed Amin Didi,  In the year 1967, Month of July ,  school was named as "Makthabul Irushaadhiyya" The island Chief or "Kathib" played a vital role to bring this vision alive. Irushaadhiyya  name was changed to "Hoandeddhoo Makthab," in the early 1980's,  , the institution's name was formally changed from "Hoandeddhoo Makthab" to "Hoandeddhoo School." when the   School transitioned into a government-run school on August 25, 2005.

          Middle School education was introduced at the school on February 22, 1988, and the first O'Level examinations were conducted in 2006. Since the inception of O'Level examinations, Hoandeddhoo School has consistently achieved commendable results over numerous years, both at the atoll and national levels. Currently, Hoandeddhoo School offers Science, Business, and BTEC stream
